Cant pick up the ball of whoo l/ yarn out from the bomb pls help

Hello i have come quite far into the game and i think iam at the end of chapter one and im now trying to pick the ball of yarn up from the bomb with the rabbit standing next to me but is dosent work i clicked many times on the yarn but lilly dont pick it up what am i doing wrong? pls help
