Purple Blocks - update

UPDATE: 13 have been located so far.

A 14th block has been found, but it is not currently possible to reach without noclip. Read the thread if you're interested.


Purple blocks currently have no effect on gameplay, and the developer has stated he doesn't know how many there currently are in-game.

I've compiled an album of each block's location along with a brief explanation of each.

WARNING: Extreme spoilers! I had a blast finding these, and this is for people who want to compare notes and help track down them all. Please message me if there's one I missed, I'll edit the album accordingly

as a warning, one of them is just plain IN a wall that you have to walk through.

Hint: it's a wall that has a black sign right next to it. No need to run into every wall in the game.

Just found another one... I'll actually write down each location so I remember. Possibly writing some stuff up, but I would prefer the locations be secret.

I have a bad feeling there's at least 7. I haven't found the one next to a sign yet... But I'm fairly sure I've found 6 others.

Edit: I'm scared now. Definitely 7, more probably 8 (I forgot where one is).
Edit PS: Would be nice fi someone could list em, so I can remember the one I'm missing lol.

ahhh I'm pretty frustrated that there's no Braid-like secret ending. I wanted the purple blocks to come together to form the missing piece of the circle at the ending or something, creating a utopia instead of annihilating the world....

Oh and if Alex is reading this, HELL YEAH add more! Just let us know how many there are...

I think that the door is literally a space for expansion. The dev has made it clear that he's not done adding content. He also wants to revise the end of the "bunch of difficult/strange puzzles that leads to a plain white room", so possibly via there as well.

I'm hoping that discovering all of the content unlocks a level editor or something, I could spend hundreds of hours making new stuff.

Atticus, that's great work, thanks! But could you please mention the chamber from which you get to each of the blocks? Some of the images are obvious (block 5) for instance but others not so much. :)
