Free Download confusion - Consumer trust can mean a lot!
Maybe you can have one of your dev staff check on this. It caused me a bit of frustration. I went to THIS (https://tiny-glade.en.softonic.com/download) webpage from an internet search for the game. It clearly says free download on the link button and it takes you to the Steam store page fore "Tiny Glade" but there isn't any 'Free Download' for the game. Just make sure people know there isn't some free download unless you're actually offering one. More happy anticipation and less confusion is better. Thanks!

99.9% the game won't be free even when it is out, so it would be an illegal download anyway. Also, the game is not even done yet nothing has even been released to the public that is playable.

So what ever that link takes you, its probably going to download some kind of virus to your computer.

In my opinion, is "softonic.co*" not a trustworthy site and should not be used under any circumstances.

a lot of the software available on their site is bundled with ads or a modified (monetized) setup/installer version so they can pay the bills but, in the same time, people are unaware of that kind of practice, and often a lot users which downloaded their modified installers complain about ads , spyware and other annoying elements.

Softonic has nothing to do with Steam, the devs have no control over this.

Developers cannot be responsible for everything that happens on the Internet.

Is this muppet really looking for support from the dev to download a pirated game?

I thank those who responded kindly I don't, however, appreciate responses like this one who seem to feel the need to insult someone with a petty response. All I needed was to understand the situation. No one needs to read drivel that really doesn't help at all.
:steamhappy:
So excited to be able to check out the game tomorrow!

Softsonic is any but trustworthy. I would avoid it like the plague.

Free demo should be out tomorrow, even so when the game comes out is not going to be crazy expensive.

I mean, you cannot expect people to respond nicely when you are doing something shady. Like trying to download a pirated game.
