Tiny Glade

Tiny Glade

Where are the people?
I liked the idea of this game with light themes and no disputes, wars, etc. But I imagine it feels a bit empty without watching a community growing within the created scenario.
I know that making games is mega complex. But here's a tip for evolution for the next versions: Give people an activity or at least visualize people walking around the scenario.

Description calls it a diorama builder. Kinda like Lego, with a bucolic theme, and no pointy pieces to step on! XD
I like to think of what I'm doing as either building a structure for me, or that the people just aren't currently in view.
Besides, there's sheep with the cutest little faces and they get into everything! :)

People has been a frequent request and I wouldn't mind them myself, but I imagine the requirements to make it work are barely worth the effort. I've wondered, though.... What if people could be placed like objects and then paths drawn for them manually. Seems like that would be a lot easier thing to do than having to program them to find and navigate paths.

That'd be cool. I'd love to have guards patrol my fort walls, for instance :)
It would be really cool, but realistically it would be a huge amount of effort to make it work, especially since this game prioritizes style, and is primarily a diorama builder. You would have to get the art style just right in order to not have them look out of place, sufficient amounts of animations as to not have them look janky, good pathing that doesn't bug out when confronted with the million different object interactions in this game, etc. I think if it was implemented perfectly then it could be awesome, but given that this is a team of only two people that seem to mostly focus on ease of use and style, I don't think it'll happen any time soon

Just two people on the team?! Wow. I didn't expect that. That's crazy.
So they did something really spectacular. That's really cool.
Well, anyway. If a good revenue comes in this phase, hopefully the expansion opportunities will materialize.
Good luck to everyone.
🙌
maybe people being a optional toggle would be the way to go.
