Strange problem with my monitor after exiting the game
Hi, for some reason whenever I close the game, my monitor has lost brighteness and contrast. It comes back to its usual appearance only after I turn it off and on again.
It´s the first time in my pc gaming life (more than 30 years already) that I experience something like this

That is super strange indeed ^^; the only thing that comes to my mind is maybe Windows AutoHDR being funny if you have an HDR screen.
Does that happen regardless of display mode (windowed, fullscreen, borderless)? It's only in fullscreen that we change the monitor's display settings.

My monitor is HDR capable, but I don´t receive the usual message conforming that it is activated. Don´t know if it´s on.
It didn´t happen in fullscreen, only in borderless, it seems.
Anyway, may be some sliders in the settings so we can adjust color and brightness and gamma would be a good idea. The game looks too bright imho.
But if no other player has mentioned this, it´s probably my own thing

Yep its AutoHDR i have the same "issue" when i enable HDR on my Monitor. i usually just power off and on the monitor and that fixes it. or wait a min it fixes itself after a while

Tnaks for your feedback. Well, at least it´s not something on my end. I hope they can do something about it

It's likely something on Microsoft's end, or with how NVIDIA/AMD create Vulkan "swapchains" (image presentation pipelines) by layering them on top of DX12, and strange internal hacks therein. FWIW we have one HDR-capable screen, and this "phenomenon" does not trigger there. Until we can get a local repro, there's so not much we can do.
(But I've added a note about brightness controls)

xD
I'll be on a lookout for this if we get another HDR screen for testing.
