The map size is disappointing
I was really looking forward to the full version and enjoy playing it. So don't get me wrong.

However, the map size is a bitter disappointment. I didn't expect to be able to build several cities here. But at least one small city? A larger village? That really makes no sense to me. The long-term fun is very shaken here.

Surely it will be possible to give people with more powerful computers a larger map?
I'm actually considering whether it's worth the €12. I am very, very disappointed :/

The game is called TINY GLADE.
Not huge or enormous glade.

And Baldur's Gate is called Baldur's Gate, not Sword Coast, yet every single one of their games extends beyond Baldur's Gate to the rest of Sword Coast. :eyeroll:

What a weird community this game has. For a creativity driven game like this people really hate having options for more creativity. I hope Modding tools come soon so you can play without them.

Constraints bring out the best creativity. Complaining that your creativity is stifled while there are countless incredible builds out there is just lame.

Again. You can play on as tiny map as you want. Dont understand the hostility towards people who like this concept so much they want to make even more. Truly a strange community.

Bro the title is Tiny Glade, but you can make things other than glades. Hell even they, in the daily themes ask us to make things that are not typical in glades....

I would love slightly larger scenes as well as being able to customize the outer bounds areas, like making an ocean around it for an island or a coast line on one end for a beach for docks and whatever else.

Cities Skyline is a game I enjoy a lot, but it has a whole different concept altogether and comparing the building capabilities in that game to this is plain silly. They have nothing in common gameplay wise. None. Nada.
Yeah that guy's comparison was silly. I get it but, silly.. lmao

Why in each topic of some reasonable petitions, or criticism, always are "defenders"? Man, if yo like "tiny" spaces, you can still having tiny spaces no matter the maximum allowed size. Stop extending debates to the non sense, we need information, solutions, or at least speculations.

1. What is the problem to have more space? I mean, it is a limitation of the engine, or something with no future solution?
2. Are there plans to enlarge the maps?
3. Is mod-friendly enough to do that by mods?

Mee too want to make a small town with surrounded farms, more or less need a 10 x 10 kilometers map, and obviously not all filled with houses, just houses at the center, the rest farms, forest and coast. Is that possible?

I'm actually surprised by the complain, have you tried building the whole map already?
It looks small from far, but it needs A LOT of building to fill it up up close.

I've already made tens of maps from my projects for fun, the map size isnt enough to even fit one village in one map. It is just a quite sad to build only a small part of a city when you know you could do the entire place in one map, instead of separating it in multiple new map blocks.

Because you just contributed a hot zero content take on it. Thanks for bumping.

That's kind of my point - Tiny Glade's building capabilities are designed for this small scale. I personally don't think it would work on a gigantic map.

Totally respect your opinion and desire to go huge with buildings by the way - just don't think it fits with the developers vision of this game
No. That was not your point. Your suggestion is to play a different game for a totally different purpose alltogether. You're basically asking everoyne who wants bigger maps to ditch custom building and refund Tiny Grade for any other City building sim. But if you look at those from technical standpoint, you are asking them swap to an entirely differently purposed game. There is no custom built buildings in Skylines. They are the type they were downloaded as and always will be. You cannot make airport to look like anything other than downloaded airport. You don't know what you even suggesting.
Oof, touched a nerve there didn't I?😅

I don't remember "asking" anyone to anything. I just happened to offer an opinion that doesn't agree with yours - for me, the whole point of the game is to build these small little scenes, and a giant map takes away from that.

But hey, if it's what you want then I hope the developers add larger maps a future date for you - I don't have to use them so it really doesn't bother me 🤷‍♂️

I don't think we need to be so uncivilized towards each other, lol. Every online discussion turns into a little fight...
