BTW, "making me irrationally happy" is the effect that the game has on me as well.
Yep LOL happend to me as well, i just had to make a bigger place..
i wouldn't mind moving ppl that you could place on the scenes yourself
Just Sheep being the only mammal is wonderfully relaxing, the only other one I can think that I'd like is maybe a cat or two that snooze on short walls attached to buildings.
The Hubs calls Tiny Glade my "petting sheep" game because I start it each time with them in mind - the idea that I might drop a building on them or push them into water makes me sad;
first; find the sheep.
second; build a sheep hut with a path going into it instead of a normal door so they can go into it, have also found they can go into/under a raised building for cover, so that's nice too.
third; herd the sheep toward their hut and corral them into that area. Have found if you give them less that 1/4 the area they will umbrella out - they are surprisingly curious lil' critters.
finally, they need interesting things to explore. Some water so the ducks will visit, trees to wander thru, and little hills to go up and down. But if you're changing the height of ground under one do it slowly. Oh, and that littlest one loves to freak you out by walking along cliffs. Stinker!
Also, if you don't pause to pet them and let them follow your cursor for a bit they're more likely to bounce over fences.
Have had the game crash on me a couple of times recently and have come back to find the sheep wandering on the wrong side of their area!
Once the sheep are safe and happy I'll start building :)
