tiny glade runs pc way too hot

tried tiny glade, running a geforce 1060, an intel i7-7th gen, 14 gb of ram and a 1tb of hardrive. should have been no reason a building game could not have been proessed well when i can play WOW with fan speed at 50% and not even go past 50% cpu and gpu temp. yet tiny glade i had fans at 100% and cpu and gpu both in 80-90% speed red hot. games resolution was not developed properly, cant imagine what it does on a ps5.

I have an I9 13900K on an ASUS Maximus Hero Z790 motherboard with 64GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 4090 and I constantly have CPU temperatures of between 81-93C. Running latest BIOS to fix the intel issues with the I9 but still running way too hot.

Check to see if the inside of your PC is clear of dust, as that might be something or the ambient temperature of the room the PC is in. Also if running on a laptop might be another as they are not the best for keeping cool.

The reason for this line of thought is I have a Ryzen 9 7900X3D with 64GB ram and a 4070Ti Super and my CPU is not going over 50° Celsius and my GPU is running about the same temp, although currently the temperature in my room is about 14° Celsius.

Yeah this is the one annoying thing about the 13th and 14th Gen Intel CPU's having this annoying issue, more so how long it took Intel to admit it was a problem they had created.

Is there any other suggestions on this?
I have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 and Tiny Glade heats it over 90°C to the point where the game stops running after only 5-10 minutes.
I have set the game resolution scale to 0.5 (any lower and it gets very blurry) and the framerate to 30fps and V-Sync is on.
I cannot play the game without fearing that my laptop is gonna sustain damage, and the game gets understandably laggy and ignores almost all inputs, as soon as the temperature is at 90° for longer than a few minutes.

Sounds like the system is still using more power than the cooling solution can handle. I'd start from dusting the cooling assembly, and if that doesn't do anything, the next option could be to limit the maximum power that it can use. Your laptop's manufacturer could have software that provides such functionality, e.g. ASUS has "Armoury Crate" which lets you change between various settings like Quiet, Performance, Turbo, and I think you might also be able to set a TDP limit.

Thank you but unfortunately I'm not comfortable with messing with bios settings of my laptop.

I managed to keep the heat down to 75-85°C by setting the resolution of my laptop to 1920x1080 instead of ultra HD and additionally setting the energy management mode to the NVIDIA driver in the NVIDIA settings.

In the game, the framerate is still limited to 30fps and the resolution still set to 0.5.

I'm putting this here in case it helps someone else. It's not pretty but it does not overheat anymore and the game registers almost every input now.

I also set a 30 fps limit, as my laptop was getting very hot. It's the usual laptop problem of the cooling system not being able to cope, coupled with power management options that by default aren't very effective.

CPU Temp never gets over 40 degrees c
Not sure about GFX temps but the fans never spool up so Im guessing its fairly cool.
