Tiny Glade

Tiny Glade

How to enlarge building space?
Hello, community and devs!
I'm not smart and can't understand how to enlarge building space.
All I have is a little square place where I can build ~16 houses.
How to get access to outter space?

Sorry, if my question is duplicate or if it was in tutiorial.
I want to build bigger nice city )

That's actually the maximum size for the map, dunno if the dev will do an option to enlarge the map. Would be cooL.

The game's description does say "Tiny Glade is a small diorama builder" I don't think you're meant to build big cities, although that would be very nice to see. Even just 2x-4x the current map size would be perfect

I think making the playable area larger with mods/steam workshop is the better choice. If they up the size of the default, or even optional, playable area, it won't be Tiny Glade anymore, it will be Moderate Glade.

Scale your houses down. You should be able to cram waaay more than 16 into the given space. Take a look at the examples from the store page which were also created with the same limitations but with efficient use of space.

Haha, that logic makes sense, but the word 'Tiny' in the title doesn’t refer to the physical size of the map. It’s about how it automatically changes as you build or modify things. So, 'Tiny' still works for the game's title.

I'm also speaking directly to the Tiny Glade crew! Expanding the map size would be a fantastic addition. It could allow for more immersive and creative gameplay. Maybe you could introduce randomized generation with seed randomization, so players can choose the map size before starting a new game. This would not only offer more replayability but also give players the freedom to experience a variety of layouts and challenges. I believe many in the community would appreciate this flexibility and depth.

Also, I’ve noticed that when adding new structures that are supposed to be connected to the roofs of existing buildings, they get anchored to the map’s lowest terrain level instead of the roof itself. I understand that fixing this might be a bit tricky from a coding perspective, but in my opinion, Tiny Glade is shaping up to be one of the most enjoyable and player-controlled building games out there. It's a delightful experience to play, and I believe those who have come this far will stick with it for the long haul. I see the game as a masterpiece in the making, and I want to congratulate you for creating something truly satisfying.
