(SOLVED) Can't Run Demo (Incompatible Driver)

Gotta admit I'm pretty disappointed. I can run games like Baldur's Gate 3 fine on my computer, but Tiny Glade refuses to run. I'm getting an Unsupported Driver error, but I literally can't update the drivers to my GPU. (I've tried many times, it's an older GPU, and for some reason their drivers refuse to recognize my GPU anymore.)

I have a Radeon R9 270. Ironically, exactly what's listed in the Minimum Requirements for the game. I get that Tiny Glade requires a certain version of Vulkan to run. It just seems really bizarre that I can run a game like Baldur's Gate 3, but TG refuses to even start.

I don't really expect anyone to be able to help in my situation. I'm just very frustrated, because I've seen so much about this game, and was looking forward to giving it a go. But if the demo won't run, there's no point in wasting my limited income on it.

(And before anyone even starts, do NOT suggest I get a new GPU. I was able to upgrade everything else in my computer a couple years back, but was blocked from upgrading my GPU because scalpers were reselling every single GPU for over $1000 or more. I currently don't have the money to get a new GPU, or even a used one.)

Try the exact version of the driver that Tiny Glade says it needs. AMD messed up their driver download page, and they list drivers that aren't compatible with Windows 10, but the one that we list as supported is the most recent one that actually works.

So all I can say right now is thank, and I am amazed! I could swear I've tried older drivers with my GPU before, and they didn't work. But somehow this time they did?! Maybe it had to be that specific driver, the one mentioned in the error message? I really don't know!

In any case, I was able to update my GPU drivers for the first time in nearly a year, and the Tiny Glade demo is now working! As limited as it is, I can see how beautiful it is for myself! It'll be a bit before I can, but hopefully I can get the full game soon! <3

Hah, yeah we've tried all of those drivers ourselves, and it was a bit hit&miss about which ones would even install :) But we do regularly test on the R9 270, so I knew it would work - glad that it runs for you too now! <3

(BTW on the R9 270 at 1920x1080 resolution, I typically set "render scale" to 0.7 in Tiny Glade's video settings; otherwise it's a bit too many pixels for it, and it struggles to run at a decent framerate. Disabling v-sync helps a bit too)
