Is Game Dead ?

I see there has not been an update since Oct. 2023, that tells me the game is dead and the dev is no longer working on the game, Despite that, I still play the game which is fun, but I will not put money into it.

the game has been dead since the premiere because deveroper thought he would make gensin survival and it turned out to be a big failure just like gameloft released new orean dawnland it was even dead long before the premiere because I heard about this game either 2021 or 2022 and I immediately had the impression that the game would be dead I'm just wondering why haven't they closed the servers yet?

The devs are actually making a new game called Mecha Break. Also they are the creators of the gacha game Snowbreak which are all on Steam. Maybe the resources are split as of the moment and are concentrated on their Mecha Break game that's why Dawnlands don't have updates as of the moment.

but these 2 games are made by someone else, not the same as Dawnlands, but Dawnlands was a failure from the very beginning but as far as I can see all the games are typical p2w games

I didn't even know it was mobile. Lol I don't p2w in it at all. Just gotta craft and farm just like anything. Saying this game is p2w is like saying minecraft is p2w in my opinion.

Anyways, I had fun with it. Came back just now to see if there were any updates but I guess not. Sad day.

pay to win means you PAY TO WIN.
you kids need to look things up...
micro transactions for cosmetics or minor exp boosts are NOT P2W, those are to keep the game running. it costs money to host ♥♥♥♥ online, then theres staff to pay, advertisements, alot of other overhead.
P2W means you can pay $ and get a max level character with gear /mounts/whatever with it.

I remember hearing about this game because many youtubers ""advertised"" it. I waited and played (my computer is not that good so I had to put everything in low quality). I found the story confusing but they gained a point with me for the translation into my language but... I don't know, I played Genshin the year it was released and watched a lot of Zelda gameplay and this game seems to have forgotten the fundamental details. After seeing Polish's comment I became curious and commented, i mean, how can developers abandon potential so easily?
