little help with developer's mode
i got an annoying bug on a quest and i wanted to know if there is any way to "reset" that particular quest using developer's mode or something else.

PS: i the only save i have prior to this bug is too far behind and i realy dont want to lose 4/5 hours of gameplay

No, in general you can not reset a quest using the Developer Mode. You can reset the NPCs in a region, unlock doors, give yourself quest items or teleport to particular regions or characters, though, which could help work around some quest problems.

What quest is it, and what was the bug?

So you reloaded the autosave from inside the tomb? Or is there another after you exit?
Did you make a manual/quick save before doing the memory tests with the talking chest?

Did you try exiting the game, restarting it and reloading the latest save?

A couple people have run into this problem, but long enough ago I don't recall the details; IIRC one person had a problem teleporting away from the fight and returning some time later. A quick search mostly turned up topics with people having trouble with the fight itself...

If you leave the castle so you have enough room to transform, do the ex slayers react? Can you target them from the air? You can normally if you kill the one who swallowed the anti-dragon device which prevents you from transforming, but if they are not hostile to start with, transforming is unlikely to help.

You can try emailing support@larian.com, with a description of the problem. With your save they should probably be able to reset the Dragon Terror Patrol status.

i have 2 saves prior to the battle, one is right after i left the tomb and spoke to the npc that asked me to go in and another hours before i completed the quest, i can transform freely even if im standing right next to them, i can talk to them normaly as i could before i completed the quest (they still stand on a "V" formation near the tomb entrance) i tryed restarting my pc but still didnt solved i guess ill have to go back to the old save and re-do everything i did =/

ps: there was no autosave before or after i entered the tomb

For the autosave, maybe I was thinking of the original release... or just confusing that tomb for another location.

Depending on how much of a completionist you are, you wouldn't be missing anything essential if you just skipped killing the Dragon Terror Patrol. You do get the Scorpion set helmet from them, but could use the Developer Mode cheat window to give yourself that piece of equipment (though rather than scroll through the list of stuff to find it, it would be faster to give yourself the entire Scorpion set, and then destroy the new non-helmet pieces).

i thought about that possibility too, but that battle looked so fun, and im a little completionist when it comes to quests =), ill try my old save and see how far it realy is and if its worth going back to

my "old" save wasnt so far behing after all, even though it was about 5 hours older, knowing where i was suposed to do every thing i did i just took me like 30 minutes to reach the other one =).

ps: i knew that i could kill just the one who swallowed the device and i could turn into a dragon and have an easy fight, i watched that movie that comes with the game, but as a dragon i couldnt throw fireballs (no targeting) and i would die almost instantly with all the stuns/poisons/fireballs thrown at me so i just went head on with my two handed sword and hacked them all to pieces =)
