Spybot blocking access to the game
I have installed the game but when I went to run it the first time Spybot it gave me a message that there was a virus had been detected and this is the message in Spybots log. Encountered and terminated Bancos.prx in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\divinity2_dev_cut\Autorun.exe!

When I try and play the game now I have the message Failed to start game (missing executable).

How to I tell Spybot to allow the programme to run and when I have looked at the file C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\divinity2_dev_cut\ the autorun.exe does seem to be missing.

Spybot has a quarantine section where it lists files flagged as containing malware (right click the taskbar icon and check under Basic Tools). If restoring the file doesn't automatically do so, there is an ignore list in the Settings, as well, if you switch to Advanced User mode in the Start Center (should be able to get there from the tray icon, also), which will tell the program not to scan specified files/folders.

Rather than using the Autorun launcher, you could also create shortcuts to the executable(s) in the '..\divinity2_dev_cut\bin' folder: Divinity2.exe is the normal mode, while Divinity2-debug.exe has the optional 'Developer Mode' cheat menu.
