How do you disenchant an item?

I'm level 10 and don't have a dragon tower or any of that...Is it a skill?
And do you learn formulas or get your charms back?

For those that don't know. There is an enchanter out in the valley i think by the west shrine that you can do enchanting with, until you get your tower and your own enchanter. You can either find formulas for enchanting or you can simply disenchant items which will cause the enchanter to learn the formula that way.

Best to use both methods. Early on you probably won't find the level 9-10 enchantment scrolls until later in the game, but you might find level 9-10 enchantments on found items and weapons/armor that you can disenchant. Later when you reach the enemy general flying fortress's you can farm chests to find those level 10 enchantment scrolls/items.
