What do I do after Maxos Temple?

I just got done with “Dragon No More” in the Maxos temple and I’m not sure where I’m supposed to go now. I thought I was supposed to go to the mine at the quarry in Broken Valley, but every time I approach the gate the cutscene plays and it says, “You are no match yet for the black ring elite. Leave, lest you want to hand Damian victory now.”

Where am I supposed to go?

You can enter the mine area, but the tower will be locked until later in the game (the few opponents and loot that are there now will be gone then).

Once you kill Amdusias and take the Book of the Dragon from the Blood Altar, a force field that was blocking off one of the paths by the teleporter will be removed (leaving the area where Amdusias was towards the library, hang a left at the intersection and continue. After a cutscene conversation and small fight, you can use the teleporter there to go to a new area (there is teleporter shrine there to get back).
