Divinity II: Developer's Cut

Divinity II: Developer's Cut

Can the game run on windows 10?
Does it need patches? Or need some extra configs? Or straight out of the box?

I'm running it on Windows 10, there are a couple of tweaks I had to make to keep it from getting stuck loading dungeon areas.

I did each of the fixes listed in this post: https://steamcommunity.com/app/219780/discussions/0/357287935560244225/

I dunno for sure which one fixed it, but I have zero problems now and it's a good game.

keep trying to put time into the game but the loading screen loop is killing my buzz. I will download the patch in that thread and hope for the best

Works fine for me with 4gb patch and combitability set to win XP SP3. Then again I have played only about hour and a half so who knows what will come up.

I downloaded a patch and it works fine. I no longer have the forever loading screens when going into and out of buildings.

The 4gb patch is an absolute necessity if you want to run the game on Win7/10. Otherwise you will either get endless loading screens or game crippling stuttering. Follow the above link to Raze Larian's thread and use the NTCore 4gb patch linked in that thread.

I'm still running Win7 on my legacy game computer and it was impossible to play without the patch. Now running in hi-rez and full screen again.

It also worked just fine for Win10 on my other computer. I couldn't even get the game to start in Win10 without the patch.

Best to install the 4GB patch,
game kept crashing for me too (and other games like Fallout New Vegas) untill I got the 4GB patch.

Rarely crashes for me now.
