Beyond Divinity inventory bug
Ok so this game has been a right B***h to install as I've had to get a patch and delete the starforce crap. But after playing for an hour I get to just past the small area and find a yellow rags uniform and putting it sends it to my leg slot instead of the torso.
Also have found that equipping the Sash goes to the 3rd arrow slot and leather leggings has swapped out for my shoes.
I can't seem to get a screen shot but this Google images is exactly what my problem is http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g44/WeMustPray/WTF.jpg

Has anyone ever had this problem, I'm am currently trying to fix it, but have had no success so far.

The game is a retail edition bought a few years ago, but never got round to playing the game till now.

This is a known problem with the original disk version of the game in Windows Vista and later (Inventory graphic placement bug[www.larian.com]). It can be avoided by running the game in Win 9x compatibility mode, though that will not fix the problem once it starts. At least you are near the beginning of the game, so wouldn't have to redo too much starting over, if you don't have any saves before this first happened.

Any remotely recent disk version of the game should have the 1.49 (DRM removal) patch on the disk, as well as the 1.47 install files. The version of Beyond Divinity in the retail Divinity Anthology[www.divinityanthology.com] is equivalent to the download version of the game, so has no DRM to start with, and does not have the inventory bug.

Thanks I believe I sorted it by switching it to run as win98/me and applying it as admin. Seems to have worked and I'm on ACT III thank you for the information.
