which is better, bow or crossbow? both have pros and cons but which seem to do more and/or quicker damage?

depends on your build. Since crossbows are strength build they are good as a primary or 2ndary weapon for a strength based warrior. Dexterity based archer of course using regular bows. Both are fine just depends on your build.

Since it's best to focus only on one weapon type. If you are making up a strength based warrior you'll have to decide which weapon of choice you want to raise. Crossbow is just fine as one of those choices if you don't want to go hammers, swords, etc.
