How can I beat the boss in level 3?

I'm all out of ammo for the shotgun and the boss is killing me.





Just kidding, the game is really nice. I'd like to see a bit more of everything though...more fauna, longer seasons etc. -- but I gess you can't have everything.

Actually you kinda can, after your first playthrough and there are also some options you can tweak in the .ini file
