thank you^^
that where you find her the second time around
go to arena.
find someone you can beat easily.
tape the "A" button down.
.
edit : obviously, a controller is needed for this . . and you need to leave the game running. .
although, I am actually wondering how you are "meant" to grind in the postgame.
i . . think. . .i have seen all the content in the game. I went through iza ruins and found a boss named "arx" and he says he's a "school" and gives me "lessons" and i best him and he says "1st lesson", and then beat him again "2nd lesson", "3rd" "4th" . . up until he says "the final lesson" and then i beat him again and he says "the final lesson is never ending".
he gives 22k per kill, not really a lot, when you need over 50 million xp to reach max level.
the iza ruins has pretty good battles, getting 10-15k xp per battle and lots of loot, but still, it's slow.
i have spent over 10 hours straight at the arena, doing what i said in my previous post, i taped down the button on my controller to kill arena Mameyn over and over and was collecting loot from her. ( i know other bosses give more xp, but her loot is the best and she dies fast and most importantly, she does not drain xp from you. . some bosses can drain your levels. . .)
I sold all the myhtic materials i got and then used the gold to donate to infirmary and still not even close to getting anyone maxed out.
my party is all high 70's except 1 character is level 85.
allegedly, you're supposed to be able to reincarnate your party members 24 times to gain extra power, whiich means grinding each character up 24 times.
this seems like it would take hundreds of hours, and then . i dunno how people did this in the original game, since the OG did not even have the arena.
when i read about it , they say "you drop back to level 1 when you reincarnate, but it's easy to get back up by donating gold to infirmary" but how do they make so much money?
it took me hours to make a few million and then i dumped it all into that one character to get her to level 85, and then i would have to do that 144 more times? 1440 hours? (24 times per character times 6 characters).
the OG game just said to make easy money, you buy a bunch of something for 1000 in one place and sell them for 1100 somewhere else, making a profit of 100 per item and that sounds like it would take forever to kake the hundreds of millions of gold pieces needed to make everyone out 24 times.
fortunately, we have the arena , which is much faster, but still not fast enough.
and there doesn't seem to be any more content to challenge a character that far overleveled.
arx maxed out at level 50 and is no longer a challenge for my party. he just dies to a single blazing fist.
the arena bosses might be a challenge if i level them up to 99, but that doesn't seem worth it, since the xp gain is minimal relative to the difficulty curve of the higher level bosses and some of them can even drain xp levels , which is just a kick in the head. better to leave them at low levels and just use the turbo fire controller method.
i suppose i could leave the game afk for days with the button taped down, but then why even bother?
then change to whatever class you intend to end as. make sure to forget spells you won't be using since the final class won't be abke to keep them all.
make sure to keep raganarok.
also good spells are the psionis spell focusus to raise your accuracy, which can help with the problem of not being able to hit the boss.
Mage has the slow spell, psionic has stumble spells to use on the boss to lower the boss accuracy.
psionic also has some other defensive spells to increase damage resistance and spell resistance that stack with repeated uses "psyblockus" is a good spell.
using ragnarok, if you can get the "defense up" option, it raises your evasion to 99.
if you fail to get the defense up, you can use accelus repeatedly to raise evasion to max.
problem with demorea the first time is she is actually 2 fights in one. you have to beat her and then she turns inti King Crimson and you have to fight her again that way, so you need to save your ragnaroks for that.
also good is to have someone as a psionic as their final class, because psionic gets "magic barrier" a skill that is activated with a command. have the psionic use that every turn, helps to block most of those one shot kill attacks the boss does.
the main challeng eis out dmaaging the boss's passive regeneration.
you need to find the best possible weapons you can find and get them to +9. which again, can be done by farming loot in the arena and using alchemy to break the materials down. you don't even need an alchemist, just pay for it at the laboratory.
also helpful is having a valkyrie, with desperate strike, does a lot of extra damage.
