Similar to Etrian Odissey ??
Do this games have un actual story ?? Or just: set up your party and go clear the dungeons.

The 2 reasons why i dropped Etrian Odissey were lack of story and manual mapping =/

This one's tends to send you after very specific things in dungeons to fulfill quests (both main and side), where there will be lots of talking as you complete them. More talking than EO. Much more getting lost in the dungeons than EO. A heck of a lot more getting lost in item crafting.

If you want stories in your blobbers, check out Labyrinth of Refrain and Labyrinth of Galleria.
Or Zanki Zero, for something even more heavily scenarized.

If you liked Etrian Odyssey but wished it had an actual story, there's the two Etrian Odyssey Untold (only on 3DS) which are remakes of the first two games, but with some more objectives and reasons to explore.

Also manual mapping is only really a thing in Etrian Odyssey. In most other games like that you're only going to put down annotations on your map.

If you dropped EO because of that, DRPGs might simply not be the genre for you.

Both series have plots. Although in Class of Heroes' case, it's more lighthearted and self-parodic at times. Personally, 1 has its moments but it might not be everyone's cup of tea.

Now, gameplay-wise CoH is much different - way too many differences to count here.

In the case of mapping, it is automatic. But you first need to either cast a Sight spell or buy/find a map of the dungeon you're exploring. Otherwise you simply won't have a map at all, which normally results in you getting lost.

Thankfully, both options are available very early on, so the chances of you actually getting lost are minimal with enough planning.

Thanks for the tips. I think i will give this game a chance.

I actually like the dungeon crawler rpg genre. Had played games like mary skelter, moero chronicle and unchained blades, and all were great experiences.

I actually have labyrinth of refrain in my library, bought it during a sale long ago and forgot i had it. Think it might be a good time to try it out. Thanks.

If you would like to see if you like this game, you can try the original for PSP. It's not very hard to find.

Whenever I play the PSP all that disk loading scares my fellow passengers on the bus. This game doesn't shy away from loading screens.
