fc25 is on the horizon though
I've been simming games for years.
FC 24 is the best for that because this is the first year they let you do it without being forced to use mods. You can watch the games in Tactical View.
Career Manager is good.
Play on the hardest settings if you are starting with a lower league team, because if you're a good manager, the lower leagues will feel easy. It doesn't get hard until you are in the first and second divisions trying to win the biggest trophies. Then it requires great management and some luck.
I selected a 4th division English club and eventually won all of the trophies available. Which I believe is about thirteen different ones. It's a lot of work, though.
FC 25 will be released in two or three months. If that doesn't bother you, then go for it.
Thanks for such informative feedback!
I'm really considering between ea sports 24 & fifa 22.
It's just seems to me from the reviews, that's fifa 22 have better reputation while the 24 have many unsatisfied reviewers.
What do you think?
I'm not sure I want to wait until 25, it's anyway not a big change afaik + it will be be full price while now I can buy 22 or 24 versions for less than 20€.
Thanks! And what about fifa 22?
And if I'm anyway not interested in pvp then why shall I wait to buy the 25?
The problem with all the FIFA games is they hardly ever get major updates and they go out of date unless you mod them to keep them up to date because there is very little flexibility built into the game, they just release new games rather than expansions which is what they should do. So like their F1 games they are not worth buying every year, maybe buy the latest one in a sale and plan to keep it for a few years.
Personally I find them a bit repetitive and prefer Football Manager overall, and you can mod FM to stay up to date. I am still enjoying FM2020.
If you want a simpler football game take a look at Tiny Football.
