EA Anticheat has detected an unacceptable configuration?

Was playing rivals and just after half time it booted me to desktop and displayed this message:

"EA Anticheat has detected an unacceptable configuration. Please ensure no cheat related or tampering software is active and restart the game"

I have never cheated on this game at all and mostly play co-op rivals with a friend. Just decided to try solo rivals and am in Division 9.

The guy on the other end of this match was AFK the whole time though although his player was moving so maybe they detected that?

Anyone else had this problem?

i dont have that problem and i also dont see any vac bann so i suggest you open a ticket on the EA site support, maybe they can help you

The game launches fine and I've had no trouble since but this is just ridiculous. Maybe because I added a shortcut to it on Steam and launch it from there?

ye better do a ticket as i really cant think what could be the problem, i am sure if they look it up they will see you didnt cheat, on the other hand as you talked about your contestor, he didnt do anything? strange maybe thats a new glitch to be able to win or what ever some do to cheat lol. i hope for you you will get your account back , anyways, happy new year for all ;)

No my account isn't banned or anything. Plays just fine. Was just concerned about the message.

Don't worry, its a feature of every EA game, i had it on battlefield 2042, battlefield V, fc 24
with only discord running.
