AI broke/too easy even on legendary even for a noob?

Hi I'm new to the game but have played alot of PES until 10 years ago. I am now playing against legendary AI and somehow always score 8 goals. after I won the games on easier mode aswell like that.
The AI is not really defending. Did I break something? I am not very good in 1v1 atm (newbie) so I can't believe that the AI is that bad?

Do I have to change some settings to get an AI that is a competition? I need practice for 1 v 1

If you bought the game short after release, there was a bug which messed up the ai sliders in the options. Usually all sliders should be at 50%. If they do and its still to easy for you, use 60% or 70%. Or play vs humans.

yeah because AI in legendary should defend like gods, like always first to the ball no matter what , well unless bad teams in real life they will still bad in game . then again i speak only for one controlled player in career mode as i only play that..i suspect playing yourself as the whole squad may make the game easier ?.

ps just to clarify legendary isn't impossible but too many BS for my liking .
