DualSense controller not supported all of a sudden

Hello!

I get this message when I try to open EA FC24.

"Your DualSense controller isn't supported by this game. Steam Input will translate the device so you will be able to play the game, but you may not see glyphs that match your device".

Yesterday it worked without a problem, now when I try to play the game, controller acts like Xbox. It's very annoying.

Does anyone have this issue? I am using PC with PS5 controller (wired USB), do not have option to Bluetooth controller, since my PC does not support this option.

Any solutions that would help me? Does anyone experience the same issue? Please help me.

The same thing happened to me, i tried to play Witcher 3 while using Dualsense controller and i get the same message as You did. Clearly Steam f something up here

I fixed my problem by going on upper left corner where it says Steam-->Settings->Controller-> PlayStation Controller Support there I selected Not Enabled. And it works pretty much normal now as it should. Although it makes 0 sense to me.

Weird, i changed it to enable and my controller also works as it always has. No idea why it is like it is but definitely it's some kind of bug

Steam | Settings | Controller and changing "PlayStation Controller Support" to "Not Enabled" did the trick for me.

Anybody else has an issue that the game does not recognize LB button ? I am playing street fighter 6 and it seems that the button does not work even though if you are testing the button in the in game button test feature it lights up.

This isn't the cause. Steam has supported dualsense and dualshock4 for a while, but now the interface regarding remapping is more clear (finally).

The issue came in some november update, and all of sudden the DS controller stopped working natively (ie: without Steam Controller enabled and/or other 3rd-party software like DS4Windows).

You can always use one of the 2 solutions above, but the button layout will be the xbox one.

i have the problem that i cant use my controller to the left/right side.

it will just go as left=up/right=down

someone knows a fix?
and sometimes i just cant navigate in the menu and have to restart the game

Turn off steam input, buy dsx. Viola problem solved.

lol 'buy dsx'

DS4Windows is free and is reliable, everyone uses it.

FC24 doesn't need this anymore though, the game has other issues, but the controller thing was fixed a while ago.
