Slow-mo gameplay
As the title says, my gameplay is very slowed down (literally, I'm not whining about differences between the fifa 23 and fc 24).
The rest of the game (menu, packs, etc) doesn't lag and fps is fine. Even if I pause the match, the background replays are shown normally, but the second I continue the match it's all back to Matrix type slow-motion. Tried different settings, game doesn't lag even on High, but slow-mo doesn't dissappear
Any ideas on how to fix it? Or it's just poor EA "optimisation"?

nah, Im playing on my laptop and I found the reason behind it. The thing is that the game loads my proccessor to 100% and it drops from like 3.5-4 GHz to 1.4 GHz in order to not melt to death.
If you are on a better laptop u can try to change some CPU settings via MSI Afterburn. In my case the laptop itself doesnt have that option to make any changes.

The only option for me to play online is to use cloudgaming.

Can MSI afterburner overclock a CPU?
No, it can't overclock CPU.
It's a overclocking utility for GPU's. If you want to overclock CPU, assuming that you have an unlocked Core, you can go to BIOS and tweak the settings.

Yeah I tried BIOS but there were no such settings. I even updated it in case something appears, but no
Anyways, my laptop barely suits low system requirements so...
Thank you for the answer tho
