No commentary in-game

I've tried all the solutions suggested by YouTube videos and other forums, and I can't solve the problem. Does anyone else have the same problem as me?

i have the same problem. i cant listen some commentary in any game mode

same problem. No commentary teams are available. everthing was greyed out. I wanted english commentary but my game still in my native language.

But I fixed it:

In Steam library right click on EA FC 24, select properties. Changed the language into english. It downloaded the language pack.
Restarted the game. Changed the language back to my native language in game. Now i can use the english commentary teams. But still no commentary, so then go ingame to audio settings the commentary volume is only one "1" (out of 10) by default.

See not that hard... Were are the times you go to in game setting select your language/commentary language/subtittle language which usually take about 1 minute. Now you need to spent houres/watching youtube video or go to forums to fix sh*t.

i tried what u said but it doesnt work. i changed language on steam and in game, but the commentary still disabled

try disabling all music in audio, worked for me.

I've tried everything and it still doesn't work. I really don't understand this delay in updates. the problem is serious.

I have managed to fix this by selecting stereo sound instead of 5.1 for my windows sound output. Apparently the commentary goes through your centre speaker and if your device won’t downmix properly you get no commentary. This was also failing for FIFA 23 and after changing this both games had commentary working

mine has been set to stereo the whole time and it still isnt working.

when i plugged my controler into my PC, the pc used it as standard sound output device, had to manually set it to my headset. Maybe u have the same problem?
