Defending not working bug

Is anyone experiencing an issue where the minute your team loses the ball, your players all stop running. I also can't control my player as he either stands there or runs SUPER slowly and my whole defense just collapses. Never happened in the previous FIFAs for me before, curious if anyone else is experiencing this issue and/or found a solution :( I'm playing on ea play directly btw. Also, I'm using a dualsense controller with a 4090 and 7800x3D with ultra settings on 4k at 60fps. Any help would be appreciated! thank you :)

I deleted this game after noticing this.

Its called Scripting my friend.

Another thing to note if you use low rated players and try to play against high rated players
such as Mbappe etc.

Just put the controller down, the game is programmed to make the low rated players extremely sluggish and you will see your players not defending or even going after the ball at times.

The only way to enjoy, is to do what they want .... and that is by spending money and buy some packs to get good players

if this happens to anyone else I found the fix btw just delete your current personal save at the start of the game and make a new one. This fixed my defending issue and now I can defend normally. :)
