Unable to connect to the EA servers (UPDATED)

Every time I try connecting to the servers it says "Unable to connect to the EA servers. Please check your internet connection, make sure the platform client is online and try again."
This happened last year with fifa 23 and I never connected to the servers, ended up returning the game. Any fixs????

Good news I found out if your having problems connecting to the servers try launching it through the ea app. I also bought ea play so I don't know if that made any difference.

you need to buy ea play and launch the game from the store page (10 hour trial)
after you connect to the servers you can close the game and launch it normally.

I did this but nothing changed
