CONTROLLER DOESNT WORK IN RIVALS

controller works in all parts of the game, browsing around, drafts, kick off etc... When i play UT Rivals controller doesnt work, works when i pause on the menu but when i go back to gameplay it doesnt do anthing

mines fixed i left the game for a while then came back its all good now

For anyone still struggling, I've found a solution to play rivals games. You have to manually reduce the resolution.

To do this, go to the eafc24 setup file (should be found in the documents folder). Then, where it is written resolution width and resolution height, change the values to 500.

Now, this should enable you to play rivals games without any issues. It goes without saying, but the graphics will be really poor. Also, you won't be able to access the store at such a low resolution.

However, you can play around with the resolution, increasing it and testing if it works, e.g. 900 x 720 and trying if this works. When you find a resolution that's good enough and you are able to play online, great.

Warning: when trying different resolutions and testing if it works online, don't try to many times within an hour. Otherwise, you may get soft banned, and may not be able to access ultimate team for up to 24 hours (I'm assuming you'd be resigning games if your controller isn't working

The problem is that steam is a third party software for your controller in this case. But fc 24 has build in support for controllers so steam ♥♥♥♥♥ it up pretty much. What you need to do is right click on on ea fc 24 in steam libary, go to settings, controller, and it says default something change that to DISABLE steam something. That should work good luck everyone.

I've had some rivals games where it works, others where it doesn't. It's a shame as because of EA's buggy mess you then have no other choice but no forfeit which penalizes YOU.

Can someone please help idk why but when I go in to rivals my controller works for like 1 minute and then it starts getting super delayed and I can’t switch defenders and my players just run off in to space. I know it’s not an issue with my controller because it works fine in squad battles and it’s also not the batteries because I have replaced them multiple times. Can someone help I literally just packed r9 and want to use him in online
