Game doesn't launch.

I click play on Steam. The EA App opens momentarily and then the EAFC24 loading window opens, I assume its the anticheat, and then it closes, the EA App opens again, and closes.

Had the same issue on Fifa 23.
I have tried putting EA App, Electronic Arts and EAFC24 folders in Windows Defender Exceptions.
Any suggestions are appreciated, I just want to play the game.

stupid fix but i had to go into task manager -> details tab -> then right click the 'EA background service' and end process. I also verified integrity of game files before doing that & it worked

Thank you ctn, your answer with the 'stupid fix' as you called it worked for me. After 24 hours looking for the correct solution. Even if I have to do it every time I want to play it, is better than the 'create a new Windows user' or 'secure boot' weird solutions...along with many other solutions that didn't work for me. Had the same issue. I verified the game files via steam and then EA anticheat was found to be corrupt. Launched the game, EA AC was installed again and now it works.

Guys I'm not sure if that will work.. I got it from EA, but I refunded a game. You can try and come back with feedback.

2)Uninstall the Outdated EA app that you have .

3)Clear the Cache memory

Try to turn off EA App overlay and GeForce Experience Overlay before start.

In order to play FC 24 you need to download windows on your steam deck

Been having this issue for about a month. Today I uninstalled EA App then re-installed and issue is now resolved.

- uninstall and install again FC24 , EA app
- execute as admin

I have AMD driver GPU
Manually updating AMD GPU driver did it for me.
Check your AMD graphic card model and download respective latest driver version via AMD website
First Uninstall driver and AMD Software via DDU in Safe Mode
Install just driver from Adrenaline software installer and not Full Install
Then restart and before starting the game check if there's any AMD software running in the background in Task Manager, end them all
Then start the game, this worked for me after trying everything for 6 hours
