Closed Beta impressions - scripting/momentum still running rampant

Every year I "demo" the current FIFA or whatever the F it's called now, to see if the game is maybe a little less manipulated.

Every year I realize that the scripting & momentum are still running rampant. Shame really, as this game has so much potential. But with the lying clowns at EA in charge, it seems things will never change.

Stay away if you have any self-respect as a consumer. Unless you want to support the biggest ongoing scam in video game history, of course.

As long the game is made by same devs/engine with limited time at their disposal they cant do much. Thats why during the year they barely patch the game. The "new" release of the game is a constant dlc since 2019

Because without the dice being loaded, the better player would win every matchup, and the lesser players would get fed up and not play anymore, and the cash cow would die.

And even that would be okay if they wouldn't persistently lie about it, luring more people in under false pretense.

I mean they advertised this feature in tv commercials (Madden), then they just realized it's not compatible with propping this game up as a serious e-sport.

Any company with a shred of decency would have simply removed the feature at that point. EA left it in to further manipulate their players while simply deciding to lie about it going forward.

What a truly despicable & rotten corporation.
