To make money:
- Stock the shop that Baldo works at. This will be the way to make money since you can gather the materials from rocks & lumber around town.
- If you want to assign Baldo to do something else, you can also craft the items yourself, if you go in and face the machine
- You will be running around a bit while you make your first amount of cash. Use the truck to put in a lot of materials which can help make things easier
Once you have a little money:
- Add more decor items around. This makes tourists happy and that will help increase your EGO, which is what allows you to upgrade your town
- open up a second shop. The bookstore can use paper reams, which are an alternate recipe for the table saw in the forest
Overall:
- If tourists come in with a + over their head, invite them to join your town. They'll need a house, but once you build that (or an apartment) you can assign them to work. Once they start to work, you can choose tasks you don't want to do and put them there. Mines, Forest, Farm, Shops, all kinds of options.
- Boss will call with challenges, which will help you unlock more things. They start pretty easy and then get more complicated.
