Courier building requirements

Hoping someone can help me cause I feel so dumb lol. The first 3 shops you build require planks and bricks. The courier building won’t let me put either in. Does it require other materials? Looks like maybe fiber boards. But I can’t figure out how to get those

You're right, it's fiber boards! To get those, set the table saw to make paper reams instead of planks, then you'll build a Fabricator, which is a tier 1 forestry item. That'll turn paper reams into fiber board. You'll have to do something similar in the mines to get the beams

I figured it out.. I'm an idiot and I didn't know you could change what machines make lol... Hoping this might help someone else!

Oh GOSH - you are 100% NOT an idiot for not figuring this out.
The demo really only teaches 1 element of the game, building.
We don't teach anything around recipe swapping or tiered building!

Im having trouble even placing the courier building, not sure if its a bug or i've done something wrong?

So the very front has to be touching a road, are you making sure you're putting it on a road?

+1 it's very difficult to understand how to get most items! e.g., I stuck on iron bars :/
