🗓️ When is Go-Go Town! being released?
We don’t have a firm date yet, but we’re targeting early 2024, with the caveat that game development is fluid, and that might change (but we’ll update everyone if it does)

🎮 🖥️ What platforms will it be on?
PC and consoles

🎛️ When can I play the playtest? / Will you have a beta?

🎮 Does it support controllers?
You can play using either mouse & keyboard or a controller. Also Steam Deck!

🐮 Will there be multiplayer?
There will be some form of local and network multiplayer, and we’ll be having conversations throughout the next year here on Discord to figure out the best way to execute it.

✍🏼 Is my character customizable?
Yes! You can customize your character with the Change-O-Tron machine near the train station, but within the full game, you will have customization at the start.

💵 How much will the game cost?
We’re still figuring that out, but it will be in line with other games like it.

🎙️ Can I stream it?
Yep! Please tag us if you tweet about it too, we’d love to see it. Please make sure you turn on Streamer Mode in Settings which will turn switch to streamer-friendly music if you monetize your stream!

👷🏻‍♂️What changes have been made since the last demo?

• Terraforming! 🌊 You can't move mountains yet, but you can put roads where you like as well as put shallow water down. Make your own Venice!
  
• Character customization! 🎨 You can add glowing skin, fangs, glasses, and more, and if you want to wear a hot dog suit 24/7, we will not stop you
  
• Import / Export building! 📦 Our new way of letting folks determine how they build out their town. This building accepts excess materials & crops, and you can trade them for tickets that you can exchange for new slots for workers, decoration, and more!
  
• Mascots! 🐨 Make the creepiest (or cutest, who are we to judge) suit that you can and then hire a townie to wear it
  
• Go-Karts! 🏎️ Yes you heard that right! There are a lot of new things you can buy in the Import / Export shop, and Go-Karts (and speed boosts!) are among them

• Tweaked the interaction point with apartments & houses
  
• New zone indicators (Forestry, Mine, Fishing, Farm) and new themed time clocks for each area
  
• Tweaked the courier building so it only needs one road tile to place
  
• You can do a kick flip with the skateboard! 🛹
  
• Keyboard controls now use F for interact
  
• Squashed lots of bugs!

🦺 Do you have a list of known issues?
Yes, we do! Here’s the current list—these are all things we are in the process of squashing for the next playtest, but some might take a bit longer!

• purchase on Tech Tree (i.e. using EGO) sometimes cancels before it completes
  
• Workers can sometimes sleep at night instead of returning home
  
• If you build a large building right behind other blocking things, you can't cut the ribbon
  
• NPCs don't remove the contents of their backpack which can cause functional blockers for them
  
• Construction of buildings may not complete if started at night, and below an existing house. Construction will proceed as normal in the morning
  
• EGO and Money is not balanced—you will earn EGO very quickly!
  
• Tutorial/Onboarding will continue to be updated
  
• Worker and Courier AI will continue to be improved
  
• There will be greater variety for shops to build in town
  
• Overall story/progression is not yet implemented]
