help with friend number puzzle?

i am utterly confused by a puzzle later in the game involving a 3 digit code and the riddle to decipher the code involves the 3 friends. anyone have any tips?

First number: Use the alphabet to try and relate the first letter of their name to the amount of sisters [the number], "if Barbara has 1 sister and Debbie has 3..."

Second number: The number is related to where this person works..

Third number: Look at the mirror and see if anything looks like a number

Ok the store page has the name of the characters in the game and stuff to do with them. That will help completely with this puzzle, as the game does not give you files to info to look up as you pass through, its all via memory.
