As someone who works in IT, I was intrigued by the idea of a network technician simulator. The concept has a lot of potential, especially for those interested in the field. The game introduces you to the basics of network setup and teaches you the functionalities of various network components.

However, after completing the initial courses, the lack of further challenges became apparent. Once you're done with the training, there are no new contracts to simulate real-world troubleshooting scenarios. Additionally, server and router management in the game are significantly simplified compared to real-world experience. While gamification is understandable, a bit more complexity would enhance the experience for those with existing IT knowledge.

That being said, for players with no prior IT background, this game could be a great introduction to the world of network management. It provides a user-friendly platform to learn the fundamentals of network setup and equipment.

Overall, with some additions to the difficulty level, such as more intricate troubleshooting tasks or a wider variety of network configurations, this game could become a valuable learning tool for aspiring IT technicians. It also holds promise as a more engaging experience for tech enthusiasts who enjoy network simulation.

I played the game for 2 hours and came away feeling that with some improvements, it could be a great addition to the IT learning landscape.

Jokes aside, with some more things added, like Hot Air stations for soldering, and a few more things in the diagnosing section. (Developer, if you are reading this HMU I can give you the full list)

Can't honestly recommend this game in it's current state. There are 6 mission "types" but there is almost no variation between individual missions of each 'type'.. essentially there is currently about half an hour worth of interesting content and after that it's just doing the same thing again and again.

That said, I played the demo, knew this would be the case, and still decided to purchase anyway. I really love the idea behind it and really hope to see development continue and the core gameplay expanded on.

Too buggy. Wait for updates to fix numerous game breaking issues. Objects clipping through the floor and becoming unrecoverable, objects placed on the shelf disappearing, etc.

Just played this game for the first time. As a tech nerd who likes tinkering with PCs, this is perfect. You get the experience without having to buy a bunch of hardware. Since I like this game and want it to get better, here's my feedback and some ideas for the developer (I'll be updating this list as I play more):

Remove the bug where the Windows error sound plays each time a tutorial infographic pops up.

Improve the phrasing in tutorial infographics. They are often hard to read in English. Ask ChatGPT for help.

Change the font and follow a style guide. Ask ChatGPT for advice based on the game's branding. Adjust UI proportions based on the golden ratio and other design principles for easy understanding.

Add an IT, techie, Mr. Robot-type soundtrack with songs that switch every now and then. The music should not be distracting but also not too generic. While this isn't necessary (as players can turn off the music and play their own from YouTube), it would better fit the unique style of the game.

Include the application of thermal paste to the CPU in a satisfying way. Thermal paste is essential to PC work. I haven't yet seen the ability to add thermal paste, so if It exists, ignore this point.

Add a speedrun board repair mode where you need to repair a board as fast as possible and then press a buzzer. Include player high scores with an intense timer and cyberpunk/tech music playing. You could make this a mode in a different place, like an underground hackathon basement with other techies cheering for the winner. In this mode, you'd compete to win against another AI or player in repair. The highest rated repair wins for each run.

Game needs polishing but is fun

At least I got my first game breaking bug experience before the 2 hour mark.

I had played this game for 3 hours , I was mad because of bugs , in 3 tasks I want to do there was one incomplete because of bugs , its idea is perfect but the result is not, the game need a deep improvement

After being diagnosed with a mental disability, I though I couldn't work the IT field again, ServiceIT changes that!

There are many different "fields" of IT support and Service IT Touches many aspects of that!


Finally , there are some minor bugs , meaning that the odds of you having a 5 Star company all the time is slim, but that's why its early access

I cant wait for future developmets!

The game seems very unfinished for the price. You get about an hour game play and then no jobs are generated.
