Tilpoca's Contract

So forgive me if this is a thing that resolves itself (like you're forced to sign at some point, etc), but what does signing Tilpoca's Contract DO exactly? Does it lock you into/out of certain endings? The in-game dialogue doesn't really do a good job of explaining what it is, which makes it hard to understand it's implications from a role playing or mechanical standpoint.
Like we aren't able to make our character ask the obvious questions I'd like to ask in the game, so... feel like I have to ask them here.

>I didn't explore too much on that concept, as I ended up signing the contract from the get-go. But from a mechanical standpoint, it allows us to use Slaughter (Usable only at Night, Consumes 1 AP, kills all hotel guests --- + gold/souls/items/Evil --- - SN/Clean).

I didn't sign, the command appears on the screen, but you can't actually use it until you sign the contract.
Also, besides Tlipoca interaction an option labeled "Death Contract" asppears, apparently, you can sign it later on.

Mostly I'm curious if it locks her affinity at a certain level/locks you out of endings involving her

I'm trying the route, its actually oof to get souls up until chapter 8 (with the Extra Item) so its definitely a nice added challenge.

I'm already looking forward to doing another run to optimise.

My first thoughts are: Save scum when you unlock the [Father] guest type to always get at least 2 soul fragments per day. This nets you 56 soul fragments or roughly 5600 souls before auction. Then pick dragon oracles or supreme star/dragon oracles to conserve as many souls per auction. Ideally you want 6000 souls in the case that each item bids up to 2000 and the oracles help with that. Alchemy synthesizing Bone Nail via 25 B + 21 B (B stands for blue). I'm doing rough numbers (sample pool of 4 loool christ almighty the rates) but the range is like 200-1000 tries compared to standard 1000-1600 tries. Bone Nail sells for about 3000 souls base but can go for around 4000-6000 souls. I haven't tried the strategise filters myself since I'm still collecting rates and data.

Can anyone explain how Tlipoca's debt works? I remember some explanation about it when you sign the contract as soon as possible, but if you sign it later, it seems you receive no explanation? I know nothing besides she own about 10.000+ soul fragments to the Death Tower, is there a deadline or what?

So far I'm chapter 8 with level 5 affinity with Tlipoca, there's no task to pay for her debt yet. Pre-chapter 8 is hard to get 10k souls and still buy every Extra-item, thankfully post chapter 8 its easy to get 10k souls thanks to a certain Extra-item so I wouldn't worry about it.
