delayed, delayed and delayed
chapter 2 was supposed to come out in october 2024.
then it got delayed to december 2024, and now its delayed to an unkown date.

18 buck for a unfinished game with new content coming maybe 1 year after chapter one is scandalous. i think only hardcore fan of DD can enjoy this game. its a mistake to buy this game right one.

if they wanted to take our money (first they have a shop with ton of merch, even from chapter not even released) they should have make the game 3 buck and make us paid for the other chapter. like Batim, Poppy Playtime or freaking Dark Deception !. like everyone does. not make us pay the full price and give us a "trust me bro"

the last game that did this was SPOOKWARE and when the final chapter that everyone paid for got cancel, people were really not happy.

they really have to do something about all of this. people are waiting maybe like 6 years for chapter 5 of the original game. they will not wait another 2-3 year for SDD to be complete.

It looks like there is only a single programmer doing this and he's been crunched. In fact, you might want to read the doc the user Tails608 made about the whole thing around SDD. It's a rabbit hole.

Not only that, there is evidence of Vince committing fraud with the Makeship stuff, he could get in serious legal issues.

Vince said that CH2 is practically ready and they are waiting for the right time to launch, the first trailer is already out Saturday, so we have to be patient.

It should have been ready eons ago! You speak about patiente but there is a clear lack of priorities.

That's all we could ever do. No amount of complaining has ever made something come out sooner.

And given how many bugs get complained about as well, sooner might not even be a good idea anyway.

Hype is a lose-lose situation for us consumers.

In the trailer it says that it will be released in February, if not, it's very sad.

I'm sorry, but how am I supposed to trust someone with lack of priorities? Many things could have been solved and released by now if they had a clear focuss.

Well well my fellow friends. In a community post glowstick say that a second trailer for chapter 2 will release in march. So I'm pretty sure that it's not coming this month
