unbalanced bosses
literally the electric boss that you can get on your first bossfight is like 20 times faster than Chronos (a final boss btw) in Hades II, or Hades in Hades I. He has pretty much no telegraph, maybe for a 0.1 second at best, undodgeable attacks with how your dash works, not enough time to even stagger him, and an attack that even if it gets telegraphed, you can just be too far away from the safe zone to dodge it. The stage before him itself is super easy, literally just click space and LMB and kill everyone, but then you get to a boss and the game decides to be super unfair and unbalanced. And the same goes for the rock boss guy too. Empress Of Light from Terraria has an similar attack to the electric boss, but its telegraphed for more time, and she's still one of the hardest bosses in the game. I've played Hades for 100 hours, and Hades II for 30 hours, and there's not a single opponent that's so fast that i couldn't react to it. Either change the bosses, or how your wizard operates. The items you get before fighting the boss are so insignificant that they don't help like at all. And most of the time you can get one or two at best. I guess i could get through the bosses if i sticked around for longer, but they're just so poorly designed that i didn't want to play anymore. And the fireball range is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unbearable. I haven't played the first game, but from what i heard, it was amazing. But this one? Need alotta work to be able to be played and enjoyed

I dont think the lightning boss is that bad, but yea, boss teligraphs are nessesary. You didnt talk about him since I'm assuming you didnt get to him, but the ogre boss also has this problem with his general swing attack. If I may also add something, with the lightning and earth bosses, they have an attack the perfectly shows how mean having no i-frames after taking damage is. as they both have attacks, (lightning boss disk melee and earth bosses aoe drills), that can hit you continuously to the point where they can basically just instakill you. Yea, they should make the bosses a bit easier to react to without having to refight them a few times.

This. Attacks are easily memorized, just use dash which gives you iframes.

I haven't played the first game, but from what i heard, it was amazing.

You should not rely on what you hear, but rather play it yourself, because no, bosses in WoL1 were not amazing but hard af. These bosses are a breeze compared to the old ones.

Yeah im always get so annoy when developers listened to casual gamers complaining and nerf the difficulty, so many roguelike got nerfed in difficulty.
Like if your casual just turn away from roguelike or souls like.
