Can't even start the demo

After the loading screen, the thanks for playing stuff pop up and the "Continue" button doesn't work for some unknown reason. It just stuck with the pop up massage. Even I deleted the game and download it again, the same issue still occurs. Maybe is my computer or something Idk, it just doesn't work.

Nah, I'm having the same issue. I actually got past that screen on my first 1st time launching the game, but ran into the "can't click on ♥♥♥♥" bug after the first time I had another menu pop-up mid-game. After a force-exit and reboot, reinstall, everything... can't click past the initial menu notification either anymore.

Same exact issue as Gifts Ungiven; first time playing worked fine and now nothing.

The game is awesome and gives off a cool nostalgic element to the origin but when I read the Signature Move screen I can't play at all and it won't let me select anything

As am I can't do anything past the thank you notice. also locks up the last quarter of the right side of my screen

Try the following and see if it fixes your issue:
1: Go to the Properties and in the launch options put -Fullscreen
2: Go to options and select Windowed Fullscreen.

Connected my controller as it suggested, wasn't able to select 'Start Game.' Finally started game by using MAKB, used controller, pop-up came and nothing was able to get me out of that screen. So I can't play and I'm tired of trying. Sucks because this game made me come to Steam.

if you hit f11 a few times it fixes the screen and lets you click it found out while trying to move it to my second monitor
