tbh i don't mind low quality graphics but if they ask for gtx1660 minimum something like Fallout 4 or better should be expected.
I disagree with the claim, but agree with the thought. From what I have seen, the graphics from a technical point seem to actually be decent. There are no glaring issues, the depth is comparatively good and you definitely cannot compare it to a decade old games.
What the issue is, it just doesn't look good. Arham Asylum is a great comparison. An older game, the graphics are not as advanced but it looks and feels great, because the art design has been better. TLOU is also great. TLOU had a lot of issues regarding clipping, unclean graphics and blurry graphics. But it worked really great for the game and what they did, they did fantastic, so you just ignored or flat-out didn't notice the issues.
Frankly, I would even say the Telltale games from TWD look better, because of the style. But you can't say that TWD Season 1 from Telltale has better graphics.
EDIT: To offer an olive branch, it looks ugly, though. I agree on that.
