[SPOILERS] Differences between the TV show and the game [SPOILERS]
I was expecting this to a certain degree, but this game takes a lot of creative liberties when it comes to being true to the source material, the TV show. There are events that play out differently, usually faster or in a hurry, or they don't even exist.

Same goes for characters, a lot of characters don't even appear in the game.

There is no Morales. There is no Andrea. There is no Jim. There is no Jacqui (black woman who dies at the CDC with Jenner), right there is no mention of the CDC or Jenner either.

There is no Otis, Otis's wife isn't at the farm either. Hershel only lives with his two daughters.

There is only 1 prisoner, Andrew at the prison, there is no crazy Thomas, or my favourite side character, Axel.

That scientist guy in Woodbery doesn't exist, because Andrea doesn't exist, even tho she was a member of the group on in the original camp, on the farm, and in the woodbury arc and played important roles in those.

Carl gets shot by a random, unnamed hunter who DOESN'T APPEAR ON SCREEN, Carl is taken to Hershel's farm randomly with no direction given to them.

Because there is no Otis, someone else takes Shane to the highschool. This person has to be sacrificed if we want Carl to survive (not how it happened in the show)

You cannot play out the events of the show, as it was. There will be differences. Now this isn't a bad thing because the premise of this game is for events to play out differently so that there is a different ending with different characters surviving.

But still it's not always for the best. I do wonder if it's worth it in the end, that there are more possible endings because of it.

Yeah it is a bit weird that lots of characters don't exist, even if they can't have the likenesses.
