Hotline Miami won't launch, receive error after clicking play
I just bought Hotline Miami thanks to the flash deal for $4.99. I've heard great things about the game and I wanted to try it out. I installed the game rather quickly as it is only 173 mb. After the installation it did the first time setup where it installed Microsoft Visual C++. It gave me a pop up asking to repair or remove it, I chose to repair it. The install was successful and I launched the game. Shortly after, I received a pop up saying "Failed to load the game data. File seems corrupted." I've tried just about every thing I can do to try and fix it, which includes, verifying the integrity, re-installing Microsoft Visual C++ from commom/hotline_miami/redist, restarting both Steam and my PC, but nothing seems to work. Is there anything you guys can do to help me with this?

EDIT: Ok guys, I finally figured out how to fix it. I had to disable a service known as "Spooler." A tutorial on how to do it can be found here:

I put in a support ticket saying exaclty what this post says. Hopefully Steam can help you and I out with this one. If they can get a fix for it, I'll let you know.

I thought I was the only one.
I can still play the game sometimes, but the Music won't play at all.

i think it has something to do with the sound. i got this error constantly until i uninstalled open al. now i don't get it whenever i start from a fresh reboot. i only get it after playing some games. i have an onboard realtek card on my laptop with the creative xfi2mb software suite for eax 5.0 emulation; maybe there's some kind of interference occuring?
