How do you beat the final boss?

Seriously he is way too hard. I killed the 2 cats, the knife throwing lady and even cut off both of his arms then he magically shot me in the head. What do I have to do. I have tried several masks including the one that "survive one shot" and fast walk and etc but none have worked so far. As far as I can tell even the survive one shot mask is not functional even out of the boss fight.

right this was actually almost like a glitch issue where I was shot by the bullet he used to shoot himself. The first post was right, stand to the left or behind or anywhere else except for the ONE spot I stood.

I just beat it again without much of an issue. Took a good 10-20 tries but its in rythem of the game.

Grab bell off far right
swipe at cats, just keep swiping, they're not dead until the next dialogue starts
aim yourself while the stripper's dialogue starts so you can hit her
IMMEDIATELY throw the trophy at her, if not you have not even a second to react
choke her out once, then let her crawl around to the fountain, may take 20 seconds for her to do this
while you're in good cover next to the fountain, finish her off
as soon as the final battle begins, grab a knife and hide behind the fountain
when he's reloading, aim carefully at him, and throw a knife, do this pattern twice (hide while he reloads, grab a knife, then hide again, then he reloads, then aim and throw!)

Ever faced off a PAYDAY 2 turret? He's the exact same thing.
Beat his minions, wait off until he needs to reload, go grab a knife, wait for him to reload again, and then throw the knife.

The right fountain is the best tactic, since you're close to it the whole level and it provides perfect cover.
