How do you kill dogs?

It seems like only guns can defeat them. Thrown weapons pass right over them and they basically teleport up to you to melee you.

No punching and no door slams. Other weapons work just fine, it seems, except for throwing them. Dunno about the knife, if you throw it.

if you have Tony the Tiger mask you can kill everything with fists

I've only encountered a dog once so far but I beat it down with a lead pipe!

You can punch them if you grab the Tony mask

Unfortunately, it seems the only *simple* way to deal with dogs without resorting to guns and alarming everyone, is to use the Tony mask. You technically can kill them with melee weapons, but their reach is substantially longer, and once they've started their lunging/attack animation, they seem to become invincible, and are insta-death to the touch. It seems like the Tony Mask punches occasionally win over the dog's lunge attack, though. I've only encountered a few dogs so far, though. I'm sure there are more options than this, I've just not discovered them for myself, yet.

I figured it out since posting this. Attack them from their flank with a melee weapon, or with the Tiger mask. or just blast them with guns.

I only killed one using a knife but it was not a problem at all - apparently the Tony mask does the trick of making your executions quicker as advertised.

Melee'd tons of them. Holding down left click seemed to do the trick.

Easy. Use Ted mask -> dogs wont attack :)))
