What does the "Rasmus" mask even do?

It's description is "an eye for secrets." I don't understand. What does it even mean? Can you find certain things on a level while wearing the "Rasmus" mask that you couldn't with any other mask?

I'm not 100% sure, i used Rasmus only a few times...But with that mask It's like the secrets (the letters hidden in the levels) are easier to spot! Like bigger icons
