Trouble wiht getting 'Plain Luck'

Ive tried many times getting this achievement, I think I'm doing it right but im not sure?
Ive been doing the first floor of 'Decadence' with the mask 'Jake' (the cobra).

Just knock everyone down and trow the weapons out of the building @ the front door, they wont pick up the brick, shoudl be easy to line them up

I've just did it on Decadence, still no achievment. I currently have the beta vrsion (because the normal version didn't want to start up). I just re-installed the game to complete the remaining achievments, but I'm reallí disappointed. Half a year passed, still no fix.

do it in full house, second floor. two guys with assault rifles will pass in front of another in the room to the right. just enter and throw the brick when they're aligned.

You must use the brick. A red brick, the green it's a can.

Okay, I got the Plain Luck achievment! Although I don't know what was the exact solution... Here's what I did:

So the possible solution (it is possible you don't have to do all of this, see below)

I backed up the game, then deleted the local content. I reinstalled it to another location (you can add one at Settings >> Downloads >> Steam Library Folders, for example C:/SteamLibrary/). Make sure you don't enable the beta!

After this, if you previously had problems enabling SteamWorks (I always got errors), the game won't have any now. There's one drawback though: you have to re-play the game from the beginning. But I think if you struggle with the last 2-3 achievments, 2 hours should be enough (I've just finished it too, unlocking all the weapos - sadly, brick is one of the last weapons you unlock).

Although I managed to kill 3 mobs with one brick throw a few times, it still didn't work for me. It is possible that you and I had been doing it all wrong. Youtube commenter MrArchythe1st notes:

The achievement is not bugged, its just extremely finicky. I did this about eight times, you only get it if it says 3x right after, not 2x followed by a 3x combo. I think it works best to make sure they are not all standing in the same exact spot but just a little separated apart.

This is exactly what I did. I lined them up, making sure they are not standing in one spot, and BAM! That heavenly feeling, when the achievment pops up at the lower right corner... What a relief.
I suggest you try this method first, then the procedure above.

I personally kept retrying Decadence's first floor until a brick spawned, then brought it to the second floor. I threw it at the wall, opened the door, then knocked the three mobsters down with my hands. I went to pick up my brick, and threw it at them as they got up.

If you have the beta version, when you start up Hotline Miami, the launcher will appear with resolution options, etc. If it doesn't pop up, you have the regular version.

Weird: the achievement pop-up didn't show up in-game, but it's been confirmed in my Activity Feed and in the unlocked achievements list.

I unlocked this achievement with a hammer (the tiny one, not the mace) on full house, might be worth trying.

If you're using Jake then it also means the weapons dropped by enemies can kill other enemies. If they're all lined up then quite probably their weapon drops are killing the others as opposed to your brick. Try just using a plain mask like Richard (it doesn't make a difference to the brick's killing power anyway) and just respawning until you get a brick, and then line the enemies up. If you're going to use Jake you might as well go to the shower room floor of Hot & Heavy and just throw any non-sticking weapon through the 3 guys in the middle and it has a fair chance of working.

Use "Tony" (the tiger "fists of fury" mask.) The guard in the lower right of the first floor is distractable (make him see you, then run towards you.) It's quite easy to achieve. Do this for the guard on the second floor with the gun. Same with any other enemy with a gun.

Well i got this way: I go on exposed kill the 2 first guys the shotgunner and that guy there is a big zone with 4 guys (make sure you find a brick and have jake mask) they will come out in a line throw the brick and you will get the achievment thats how i did it
