Hobo with a Shotgun was a piece of ♥♥♥♥ with a good soundtrack. I think with developer supervision this could be ok.

I wouldn't leave creative control to his discretion though....

I thought it was great. I liked Machete but in paled in comparison. It was just a better Grindhouse film.

Videogames movies usually turn out ♥♥♥♥ and stray from the story too hard.

As long as Eisener is supervised, though, I think a hotline miami movie can be fantastic. Maybe even go as far as recreating every single level in the game?

He has a talent for creating some really brutal stuff with a low budget. With the devs looking over his shoulder, I think they could make it work. Maybe.

eh, i kinda wonder if this can be made into a movie. part of the game i love most is how it immerses you, what with all the rushing you do, you start seeing past the pixels.

i would love to see it if it was good. but i'm afraid it won't.

Hobo with a Shotgun was awesome and definitely reminded me of Hotline Miami. Jason can really recreate that twisted brutal 80s feel of the game like he did in Hobo.

Nah, Drive's way too straight forward to be compared to Hotline Miami

Need some great writers to pull this off. I'm sure he could pull off the atmosphere and give it a real ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up look, but the writing could be horrid. This kind of game needs a writer that has a real messed up mind to pull it off right. Kubrik would ahve been awesome for it. Hell...I bet Quentin Tarrentino would do it well.

Yeah, Tarrentino would be a great writer, but I doubt the devs could get him involved.

Jason Eisener is a god. I think his style matched with Hotline Miami would be a pretty amazing match.
