How to save
This is probably a dumb question, but I played a bit of this game and assumed it autosaved or something. I came back to play some more and its put me back at the tutorial. Is there a hidden save spot or something or did my game just glitch?

There should be an option on the main menu called "continue." Yes, it saves automatically.

It is automatic

It saves between levels, not between parts of the level.
